Criterion Collection - June 2026 Releases

June is usually a good month to gather selections for the big Barnes & Noble sale that starts in July. What do I mean? Bi-annually Barnes & Noble has a big 50% off sale on all Criterion Collection releases (including those released during the sale). Readers of It's the Pictures are encouraged to look back at the recent articles on the Criterion Collection releases to get an idea of what you might want to add to your Wishlist ahead of the sale.

While there aren't a lot of titles screaming for my attention in the June slate, it is one that is packed with rereleases and titles new to the collection. On the rerelease slate, Five Easy Pieces, one of the titles that was in the big America Lost and Found: The BBS Story boxset is now going to be available on 4K UHD. Another familiar title getting a 4K UHD upgrade is Charade, the Stanley Donen directed feature starring Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant.
